Patient Satisfaction Research - Master Class

NHS Service Experience Spotlight

Richard Gamble, Director of business development for CRT presented a service experience master class as part of a series of meetings hosted by Inspiration North West. The meeting was held at The Village Hotel, Centre Park in Warrington on Friday 16 January 2009. The master class was attended by over sixty four key NHS directors and senior managers across the North West - and a number newly commissioned Service Experience Leads. The primary aim of the conference was to gather feedback, share best practice and continue to develop a successful patient experience programme and enabling the NHS to conduct Patient Satisfaction Research..

Richard majored on the ‘how to’ of gathering patient surveys, positioning patient tracking technology and achieving balanced and reliable results across NHS organisations. He highlighted the importance of capturing ‘point of experience’ feedback and the benefit of touch screens as the most accurate, hygienic and cost effective way of engaging patients. The event also benefitted significantly from Richards expertise on constructing effective patient questionnaires.

"Richard Gamble gave a refreshing insight to the challenges of collating patient satisfaction research and some practical advice on how to get started.”
Joanne Downey, Service Experience Programme Manager, Inspiration Northwest

Richard was incredibly well received, provoking a number of questions from the floor, light hearted banter with the audience and a stimulus for patient experience discussion. This speaking engagement proved to strengthen CRT’s involvement in the North West on an increasingly strategic level.
